From Saplings to Stories: A Glimpse of Green on 14th August

🌿 On 14th August 2025, as we celebrated the spirit of independence, Students came together for a meaningful cause—planting trees to honor our roots and nurture our future. The plantation drive was a vibrant glimpse of unity, hope, and environmental commitment. With every sapling planted, we sowed the seeds of a greener tomorrow.

🌿 چودہ اگست 2025 کو جب ہم نے جشن آزادی منایا۔ طلباء ایک بامعنی مقصد کے لیے اکٹھے ہوئے — اور ہماری جڑوں کی عزت اور ہمارے مستقبل کی پرورش کے لیے درخت لگائے۔ شجر کاری مہم اتحاد، امید اور ماحولیاتی عزم کی ایک متحرک جھلک تھی۔ ہر پودے کے ساتھ، ہم نے اپنی نسلوں کے لیے ہرا بھرا کل بویا۔

آپ ایک درخت یا درخت کی رقم عطیہ کرکے اس سبز شجرکاری مہم میں اپنا حصہ ڈال سکتے ہیں۔

On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, our academy is proud to announce a Plantation Program to be held on 14th August 2025. This initiative is designed to instill in our students a sense of responsibility towards protecting and preserving our environment.

یوم آزادی کے پرمسرت موقع پر، ہماری اکیڈمی 14 اگست 2025 کو منعقد ہونے والے شجرکاری پروگرام کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے فخر محسوس کر رہی ہے۔ یہ اقدام ہمارے طلباء میں ہمارے ماحول کے تحفظ اور تحفظ کے لیے ذمہ داری کا احساس پیدا کرنے کے لیے ڈیزائن کیا گیا ہے۔

The program’s goal is to encourage students to actively participate in planting trees in the surrounding area and to take an oath to protect them. Trees are the lifeline of our planet, and through this effort, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of greenery for clean air, biodiversity, and combating climate change.

پروگرام کا مقصد طلباء کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنا ہے کہ وہ ارد گرد کے علاقے میں درخت لگانے میں سرگرمی سے حصہ لیں اور ان کی حفاظت کا حلف لیں۔ درخت ہمارے سیارے کی لائف لائن ہیں، اور اس کوشش کے ذریعے، ہمارا مقصد صاف ہوا، حیاتیاتی تنوع، اور موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لیے ہریالی کی اہمیت کے بارے میں بیداری پیدا کرنا ہے۔

This small step today will pave the way for a healthier and more sustainable tomorrow for future generations. Together, we can make a difference and create a legacy of environmental stewardship.

We call upon all students, teachers, and community members to join hands in this noble cause. Let’s celebrate Independence Day by giving back to Mother Earth and ensuring that our future generations inherit a greener and healthier environment.

ہم تمام طلباء، اساتذہ اور کمیونٹی کے ممبران سے اس نیک مقصد میں ہاتھ بٹانے کی اپیل کرتے ہیں۔ آئیے یوم آزادی کا جشن مادر دھرتی کو واپس دے کر منائیں اور اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ ہماری آنے والی نسلیں ایک سرسبز اور صحت مند ماحول کی وارث ہوں۔

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Even if the Resurrection were established upon one of you while he has in his hand a sapling, let him plant it.”

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اگر تم میں سے کسی پر اس حال میں قیامت قائم ہو جائے کہ اس کے ہاتھ میں ایک پودا ہو تو وہ اسے لگائے۔

 “Globally, we deforest around 10 million hectares of forest every year. That’s an area the size of Portugal every year. Around half of this deforestation is offset by regrowing forests, so overall, we lose around 5 million hectares each year. Nearly all – 95% – of this deforestation occurs in the tropics.”

"عالمی سطح پر، ہم ہر سال تقریباً 10 ملین ہیکٹر جنگلات کی کٹائی کرتے ہیں۔ یہ ہر سال پرتگال کے رقبے کے برابر ہے۔ اس جنگلات کی کٹائی کا نصف حصہ دوبارہ بڑھتے ہوئے جنگلات سے پورا ہوتا ہے، لہذا مجموعی طور پر، ہم ہر سال تقریباً 5 ملین ہیکٹر سے محروم ہو جاتے ہیں۔ تقریباً تمام - 95% - اس جنگلات کی کٹائی میں ہوتی ہے۔"
